LONDON, October 6 (IranMania) - National Iranian Tanker Company has ordered six oil tankers for carrying oil from Caspian Sea littoral states to the northern port of Neka, announced head of the company, IRNA said. Speaking in an expert meeting attended by some 1000 energy researchers and specialists from different countries, Mohammad Souri said three of these 63,000-ton tankers are under construction by Sadra Company in the port of Neka and three others in Astrakhan in Russia. The first tanker is scheduled to become operational by 2008. Noting that they will be the biggest oil tankers in the Caspian Sea, he said the oil tankers running in the Sea had already the capacity for carrying 12,000 tons maximum. He also said that Iran is willing to import 370,000 barrels per day of crude oil from Caspian littoral states as feedstock for refineries in Tehran and Tabriz (in northwestern East Azarbaijan Province).

I am a junior in high school and am considering a business or economics major in college. The recent inflation in the housing market of South Florida concerns me and others in my community who cannot afford a home of their own. I fear that when I am out of college and ready to purchase a home, I will not be able to afford to live here, and will be forced to move. In response to the Sept. 22 article, "Lennar's quarterly profit down 39%," in the Business section, I believe that this crash in the stock is the fault of homebuilders like Lennar Corp., that have allowed this inflation to occur. This profit decrease is merely inflation catching up with the people who have stimulated it over the past five years. Today in South Florida, "affordable housing" is nonexistent.
